Obituary for Frank William Hoar

Frank William Hoar was born in Hebron, New Brunswick near Alma on December 16, 1927. He passed away in Melfort, SK November 6, 2016.

As a young man Frank moved to Toronto and became a foreman at a lumber yard. In Toronto is where he met the love of his life, Annie Fidyk of Beatty, SK, who was also employed in Toronto.

They married on July 9, 1955 and they had three children. The family moved to Saskatchewan in 1967 where dad pursued mixed farming near Beatty. He then purchased his own farm in the Thatch Creek District near Melfort. He was also a school bus driver.

Frank is survived by: his wife Annie, daughter: Linda (Eric) Jensen and their children: Kristen, Maren and Leif; son: Allan (Kathy) and their children: Lee and his daughter Leila; Scott, Chantal and Trevor; daughter: Carol (Michael) Johansen and their children Brandon and Kelsey; siblings: Della, Jean, Don (Mabel), Marilyn, Sterling (Velma), Reggie (Dorothy), George (Vivian) and Everett (Mary) as well as numerous other family members.

Frank was predeceased by his parents: William and Arletta Hoar; siblings: Gerald and Verna; brothers-in-law: Glen and Gerald and other family members.
