Obituary for Tiarra Adelle Motyka (Mason)

Tiarra Adelle Motyka (Mason)
Tiarra Adelle Motyka (nee Mason) was born December 3, 1982 to Brad and Shar in Melfort, SK.
At a very young age, Tiarra loved skating; her group won gold and silver in Provincial figure skating. She also got badges in gymnastics. She was always very headstrong even when she was little.
Brad remembers when he bought a new barbeque. Tiarra was very quiet out on the deck, daddy went out and she had filled the barbeque with sand. “Look what I did daddy,” she was so proud.
Tiarra went to Langdon, North Dakota with her mother in August 1996, she was a natural when it came to making new friends; in a short time she quickly found herself centre stage, providing instructions to her teachers and classmates learning the metric system. Tiarra loved to skate and soon was popular among the community when she offered to help the younger children. One of the most inspiring abilities at a young age, despite her love, hard work and dedication to something was the keen ability to share it with others.
In 1997, Tiarra moved back home to live with her dad and Deb. In 2000 she moved to Alberta and took classes in home care and loved it. In 2007, she moved down south to Indiana where she met and married Steve Motyka in 2008. She wasn’t afraid to accept change or try new things. She took classes in CNA customer services, aircraft mechanics, certified aircraft spot welder and auto mechanics. When her dad and Deb went down to see her, she was concerned about her ketchup chips (which she couldn’t get there). Not only one phone call about them and NOT just one bag. Facetime was always fun, you never knew what colour of hair she would have.
Her greatest ability was the unconditional love she had for her family and friends and to help us to forget our own hardships.
Tiarra has touched our lives in so many ways for which we will be forever grateful. This is not goodbye, but a moment in time when family shall again be together.
