Annette Cecile Mason passed away at the age of 64, on Sunday, April 23rd, 2017 at Chateau Providence, after a lengthy fight with Alzheimer's.
Annette was born on January 13, 1953 in Melfort, Sask. to Louis & Marie Horvath of St. Brieux Sask.
She grew up on a busy farm on the shore of St. Brieux Lake with five siblings: Edward, Leonard, Denise, Albert & Rita.
She graduated from St. Brieux High School in 1971 and from Saskatoon Tech Institute 2 years later as an LPN. The work ethic that she developed on the farm served her well as she worked as an LPN for the Kelsey Trail Health District for over 30 years. Her time divided between Melfort Hospital and Chateau Providence. She was a dedicated, compassionate caregiver for the length of her career.
She married Jim in November 1976 and was the mother of three children, enjoying camping, being at the lake, country music, playing ball and visiting with family & friends.
Annette was incredibly proud of her family. She is survived by her husband Jim, children Jeffrey, Jonathan, Jillian Pilon (John) and granddaughter Ruby Annette Violetta Pilon. She is also survived by brothers Leonard Horvath (Debbie), Albert Horvath, and sister Denise Boehm (Bill).
She was predeceased by her parents Marie & Louis Horvath, brother Edward and sister Rita.
Fairness doesn’t govern life and death,
if it did, no good person would ever die young.
